TESI IGNITERS is an Italian company specialized in the design and manufacture of industrial ignition systems for burners, flares, boilers, thermal oxidizers and other combustion processes employed across the world’s leading industrial sectors.
For over 30 years, we have been developing reliable solutions for applications where safety, operational continuity and performance are fundamental requirements. Today, we bring this experience to the market as a company entirely dedicated to industrial ignition technologies.
OUR EXPERIENCE
TESI IGNITERS’ experience has its roots in the development of industrial ignition systems that began more than 30 years ago within TESI Group. Over the years, the Ignition Systems Division has grown steadily, expanding its product portfolio, developing new technologies and strengthening partnerships with burner manufacturers, EPC contractors and end users worldwide. The continuous growth of the business and its increasing specialization led, in 2026, to the establishment of TESI IGNITERS S.r.l., an independent company entirely dedicated to industrial ignition systems.
Our roots
TESI IGNITERS originates from a journey that began in 1995, when TESI S.p.A. decided to invest in the development of industrial ignition systems through the acquisition of two Italian companies already well established in the sector: ELTER and IRTI.
These companies had developed specific expertise in the design of ignition systems for industrial burners, contributing to the development of technologies that still form the foundation of our know-how today.
The integration of their respective experience gave rise to the TESI Ignition Systems Division, which has continuously expanded its product range over the years by developing high-energy ignition systems, high-voltage ignition devices, pilot burners, ignition electrodes, ignition cables and customized solutions for the main industrial combustion processes.
At the same time, research and development activities led to the introduction of new solid-state electronic technologies, PWM power supplies and ignition systems designed to improve the reliability, efficiency and operational continuity of industrial plants. Technological innovation has always been one of the distinguishing features of the TESI Ignition Systems Division and continues to represent one of our main strengths.
The growth of the Division, its expansion into international markets and the desire to create an increasingly focused organization led, in 2026, to the establishment of TESI IGNITERS S.r.l., a company entirely dedicated to industrial ignition systems.
Today, TESI IGNITERS continues to develop ignition technologies for the major energy and process industry sectors, maintaining the continuity of the know-how, expertise and people who have contributed to the growth of the Ignition Systems Division.
